| Easter Eggs, Chocolate & Socks Rocked Off Buys – Lessons Learned & The Sheer Joy of Playing |
• Go for the big wins by playing GWS hard
• ‘Old School’ ‘keepers are perfectly fine for in & around £5.0
• ‘Keeper transfers sometimes are ‘fun’ – favourite picks of mine include Emi Martinez, Martin Dubravka, & Jose Sa – save things – it’s your job!
• Attacking full backs are not plentiful in 2025/26 – trends in the Premier League change every season – in 2025/26 cheap centre backs, Sunderland full backs do bits as starters or sub 1s/sub 2s – frees up funds for the number 10s and/or star forwards!
• Expensive defenders are worth sometimes getting the checkbook out for! When fit & available the likes of Gvardiol, Cucurella, Van Dijk, Gabriel do a bit of everything – but 0s, 1 pointers can happen sometimes – you may as well get cheap Spanish wings in backs such as Hugo Bueno then! On set pieces apparently.
• Sometimes finding an extra 5 or 10 mins look at team news or looking over squads helps – or looking back on how or why GWs were successful – going off past experience a number 10 or first choice number 1 or number 9 out injured brings about more mins and/or influence for players
• It is literally a game – going for a walk or something helps chame your perspective – one or two of your mids hitting the post is not life or death – you are putting out XIs & not plotting a heist or saving someone in A & E or something!
See the fun in the adventure, buying players for the first time or going for a different captain with upside, getting players in before going up in price and/or doing what your opponent does not want you to do – going big on number 10s or getting the big captain scores before other people do (Foden-esque!)
Walk into work with the look of eh did you see my top differentials this GW, laugh at ya players that scored own goals & impress people with your knowledge of Turkish defenders, Brazilian midfielders & Spanish mids/forwards!
Whatever your fantasy is.
Treat yourself. Go for a big triple up! It’s a numbers game, when it comes in it comes in big, or 2 out of 3 massive returns on the same night sounds good to me! I’ll be watching.
What can I say I’m into watching!

| Fantasy Football Scout Post |
A quick share of what I did for Fantasy Football Scout in 2022, as part of my FPL ‘career’ or body of work. Did this really happen. What is real or what is actual reality anymore. Yes, I think it did. It defo did. Ah, to be from Liverpool & play fantasy football. It is a funny thing, a curious thing, and pelicular thing. As a Liverpool supporter, a Spanish speaker, this was so surreal. I mean, it is 2026 so the world is smaller & it is all online when to comes to Spanish press, English, Fantasy Football media etc.
Acknowledge this post.
Please.
Even when looking back, and be like oh, remember when player X played for Spain or whatever In these times, Alba will probably play another 50 times for Spain. Not Literally, as World Champions they have so much talent, options, the production line is something else, whatever year it is!

You know what, having been in and around this game since 2012, if I learnt one thing. It is this. Never say Never!
