Arsenal are now 1st in terms of least goals conceded in the Premier League in 2023/24, are on a high after beating Liverpool last week and have been resilient in numerous away matches this season.

By transferring in Benjamin White, this enables me to have a player who is playing for a top 3 team with the ability to get forward by linking up with Bakayo Saka and Martin Ødegaard (this trio sometimes links up and plays in triangles in the opposition’s half and around the opposition’s penalty area), and this allows me to keep a core of players who play twice in next gameweek (Erling Haaland, Ivan Toney, Elijah Adebayo, Phil Foden, Kevin De Bruyne, Rodri, Ellie Doughty, Virgil Van Dijk & Thomas Kaminski).

As much as anything can happen in the Premier League, and there are no guarantees in football, Arsenal are currently 1st for xGA (17.5) in the Premier League this campaign which may bode well (best xGA away from home in the Premier League in 2023/24).

In regard to minutes, Benjamin White does fair well and appears to be quietly in form and in rhythm when it comes to starts.

Also, at present Jurriën Timber and Takehiro Tomiyasu are effectively unvailable at the time of writing.

Benjamin White may offer a threat from set pieces as he tends to go up for corners and indirect free kicks, and is capable of getting Passes Tier and/or Tackles Tier in Sky Sports Fantasy Football.
