UEFA Champions League Final – PSG 0-1 Bayern Münich

Bayern Münich beat PSG to win their 6th Champions League – go level with Liverpool on 6 – and lift their 3rd trophy of the season.

For second consecutive season a club that makes their first Champions League final are beaten by a club that wins to win the trophy for a sixth time.

Bayern Münich had more possession and hit the post in the first half with Lewandowski but made the break through former PSG man Coman and ride their luck a few times largely thanks to Neuer to deservedly win the game and be the first team to win every single match in a Champions League season.

Bayern Munich scored 19 goals in 5 knockout matches en route to winning the 2019/20 Champions League.

Bayern Münich win their first Champions League title since 2013 and are the first German club to do so since they won it that year.

• The win means that a French club has not won the competition since Marseille did so in 1992.

• A clean sheet is kept by the winning team in the final for a second consecutive season after Liverpool beat Spurs 2-0 last season (2019/20).

• A German manager wins the Champions League for second consecutive season (Flick in 2019/20 and Klopp in 2018/19).

Bayern Münich are the second team to keep a clean sheet in a Champions League final since Inter Milan did so in 2010.

Bayern Münich, Liverpool, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the only clubs to have won the UEFA Champions League since Inter Milan won the competition under Jose Mourinho in 2010.
