Always good to get about in your own city, going the match and you know getting abroad…….to Wales & Scotland.

Always the way, hadn’t been anywhere in years and it all comes at once!

Well, I am not complaining & feel blessed to have visited some absolutely fantastic places with a view of visiting more at some point, I could end up anywhere this year! Especially as the sunny Wirral is only £6.40 or something around these ways for an ‘all areas’ ticket.

Anyway, think it goes to show that there are so many amazing places that are not a million miles away, walking virtually everywhere helps save a few quid!

Teams/stadiums featured:-

• Anfield (home of Premier League 2024/25 champions)

• Welsh football club Wrexham AFC (playing Championship football in 2025/26)

• Former league winners & 1995 FA Cup winners Everton

• Former FA Cup winners Wigan Athletic (in 2013)

Added another stadium after going to have a look at Everton’s new gaff the other day.
