• Less is more approach (flexibility price wise as going from J.Pedro in GW2 enabled me to get Saka in this week to go along with likes of premium-esque options such as Trent, Salah, Haaland)

• Saka has different routes to points (open play goals, open play assists, potential for assists on corners, potential for goals from penalties)

• Numerous home matches await (3 of Arsenal’s next 5 are at home)

• Brighton are really attack minded and are likely to leave space in behind for Saka to run into and arguably are vulnerable in full back areas at present

• Matches against Leicester City at home, Southampton at home and Bournemouth away from home (in GW6, GW7 & GW8 respectively) in coming weeks very much appeal

• In comes corner taking (or set piece taking) Davis to the starting line up having gotten Liverpool at home and Manchester City out of the way (home match against Fulham at home is not easy per se but it does present him with more opportunities to get on the ball and get forward compared to facing 2 of last season’s top 3 in the first 2 GWs therefore him being potentially offering assist potential)

• Johnstone moving to Wolves (seemingly) cements my Henderson & Matthews combo further now in all probability (still plenty of matches left and Palace set up with a good shape by effectively playing with a back 5 off the back / playing 3-4-2-1/3-4-3 and there is the possiblity or potential for saves points and/or clean sheets with some bottom half opposition to come from GW4 onwards)

• Smith Rowe (goal and bonus in GW2) and Rogers offer value (and essentially act as enablers)

• Mykolenko got an assist midweek (and a clean sheet) – albeit in cup action – continues to get forward a lot (great heatmaps)

• Haaland gets the armband after scoring a hat-trick in GW2 at home against Ipswich Town (4-1)

• Haaland is in top form in a general sense

• Scored a brace away at West Ham United in 2022/23 (Premier League debut)
