2 assists from Cole Palmer on 12/02/24 as a 1 of 3 matchday captains who contributed towards 97 points.
Benjamin White as captain on 11/02/24 did particularly well, after completing 64 succesful passes from a possible 66 to reach 97% in terms of passing accuracy (according to SofaScore) to get Passes Tier whilst also getting a clean sheet.
Saturday’s captain Erling Haaland (28 points) scored a ‘doblete‘ (brace) against Everton (11/02/24).
Fellow Manchester City players Kevin De Bruyne got 1 assist (as an impact substitute), while Phil Foden appeared to prodominantly play from the right (cutting in somewhat) but was not able to add to the hat-trick that he scored against Brentford (1-3).
Manchester City’s and Liverpool’s Rodri and Virgil Van Dijk picked up 5 points each respectfully (by getting Passes Tier 2).
Despite mostly good scores, Luton Town’s Thomas Kaminski, Alfie Doherty and Elijah Adebayo only managed to collectively get 2 points from a home fixture against Sheffield United (1-3), although said players do have two fixtures next time out (and are scoring rather well overall).
Ivan Toney managed Shots Tier 1 with 1 goal away at Wolves, and is in place for 2 fixtures next gameweek.
Manchester City join Brentford, Luton Town and Liverool as sides with 2 fixtures next week, therefore it is pleasing to have a core of players from these teams ready for gameweek 28 (providing that all players stay fit/are available).
To be on another green arrow is rewarding, on to the next gameweek.
Captains are set (it is a good habit to be in).
