My word, I could write a book about the funny or embarrassing moments that I have had as someone with dyspraxia.
Funnily enough though I have found ways of finding coping strategies to help me to avoid such difficult situations – and in fairness – it is something that I have to be better at in a general sense.
I now know that there are things I can do to help myself to avoid difficult or awkward situations.
And I am absolutely conscious of that and I am trying to improve on that front.
But nevertheless, it still does not change the fact there have been some funny moments – or at least I now see the funny side of things – you have to really (well I think so).
But obviously it depends on where you are at mentally or emotionally – but from my perspective I find that I can look back and see the funny side of being dyspraxic.
It has definitely affected me from an emotional point of view – but now I am stronger and have thicker skin.
So, yeah.
