There are many reasons why I will not be playing Fantasy Premier League or Sky Sports FF in 2023/24, partly football ones, but the main one is the following:-

I need to focus on my actual life, not my fantasy one.

If this means using it as a sacrificial lamb then so be it.

Also – I think – I do not find it as important or as enjoyable as I used to – or at least it is not currently as important to me as it once was.

Well, I say that, there was times in 2022/23 it was really joyful, and it was mostly positive.

But I know it will not change my life for the better, in this moment in time. And yet it has given me so much. It is a relationship that I had get out of. At least for now. But yes, I have to be focused on things. Absolutely have to.
