ARCTIC MONKEYS ‘SUCK IT & SEE’ ON SHUFFLE (ISH) LISTEN ALONG SOC

‘Suck It & See’ 2011

Sometimes I find it funny how I stumble on some new artists or listen to old bands or albums again at certain times.

Perhaps I’m enjoyin’ time travellin’ back through music to around the 2000s or something.

I don’t know, but I’m particularly enjoyin’ listenin’ to ‘Suck It & See’.

Suppose it’s nice to go back to bands that you listened to when you went to parties or before going to gigs or whatever from back in the day.

And then realising that those days may be still here, or those gigs or adventures may be about to happen again.

Or it’s boss listenin’ to some old tunes again.

I’m very weary of nostalgia, I think it holds people back but in moderation it’s absolutely sound.

It can’t be helped to seek some nostalgia I suppose, whilst also seeing how things change in the present day.

Well, I’ll just stop here for a quick edit (hang on).

I think taking some time to reflect can help, whether that’s through listening to music, or walking around nature or writing some notes (or typing some).

So, it’s ‘She’s Thunderstorms’ on now.

The thing is, who cares what person x says about album y.

If you enjoy it, then sound.

I like going back on some bands less known tunes, like a hipster (mesin).

Some albums or songs just have a vibe I think.

Love Is A Laserquest

Nice tune this

I’ll wrap this up a minute.

It’s served It’s purpose.

Next tune.

I’ve been enjoying the slow sorta tunes in particular, but here comes a couple of the ‘harder’ ones.

I don’t know what to say here, I just love the energy this song has (that sounds so hippie, I mean I like the edge it has to it)
I’ll wrap it up on this one (I just love how mischievous this song is, I don’t know it just has a sexy & naughty feel to it)

‘Taking no chances, close but never close enough’

‘Put on your dancing shoes and show me what to do, I know you’ve got the moves.’

Well these are SOCS (stream of consciousness style of posts), so whatever.

It’s like I’m high off these tunes or something, with headphones on.

It’s just saying stuff, we’re all human.

Ok, this tune.
