Ok, this is very quick fire, it’s about flow really.
This is a liberated version, in some senses, then again most of these are.
But I’m not making this structured, just writing it, and seeing what comes out.
Just checking for typos…can’t see anyway…whatever it’s imperfect.
I basically wrote (half of this) in my head before.
Very futuristic style.
Partly doing this like this to keep it very SOC (stream of consciousness), partly because I just want to get it out ASAP, partly because I want it to be more of a quick fire flowed (imperfect ish) version
I wrote partly 3 times there (rule of 3), to break grammar rules, like a rebel mate
(Stop all that now, keep the flow, onto the footy bits now lad)
I’ll fire through some bits here (no double checking stuff allowed, partly to keep the flow, partly for a laugh)
I’ve got this ‘pop-t-astic’ playing (that I made in the summer), it’s flowing (possibly on shuffle, I don’t know, boss tunes though)
United win 1-0 (United get another another home win, thanks to a solitary Rashford goal) – Fabianski goes off injured, West Ham look well organised defensively, and xGA shows that to some extent on FBRef, and have players that can come up with individual quality – West Ham put pressure on late on but are denied by de Gea – their next 2 are at home against bottom half ish sides (Palace & Leicester isn’t it)
Arsenal win 5-0 – keep the pressure on City – Forest are up there with Bournemouth for most goals conceded in the league this season (pretty sure that’s right anyway)
Liverpool have 100 shots (not literally, they had like 20 ish, 10 on target) – but fail to be clinical – Leeds win for the first win since GW3 (I think, yeah, probably) / Liverpool’s unbeaten run at home in the league since the start of the 2021/22 season comes to an end. It defo ends our unbeaten run record this session for sure, honestly lads just put ya chances away, be able to run more – looks like some legs have proper gone to me – think playing every game possible last season is definitely catching up on them- plus it’s an aging team – but yet it is has created the 2nd most big chances this season – but stop making stupid individual errors that give the opposition goals – nice one lads, glad yous have got us through to the Champions League knock outs at least though (4 wins out 5 there is a positive).
Fulham 0-0 Everton – Fulham/Mitro have about 400 shots (apparently Mitro had 10, think that’s right, something like that) – Everton pick up back to back league clean sheets
Newcastle United beat Villa 4-0 (Martinez goes off injured, Villa’s terrible away form continues) – Trippier gets a double figure haul (got him in both of my teams, well in lad) – Almíron & Wilson return again – both get big double figure returns – Almíron points in my SkyFF team there – Newcastle continue to be tough to beat, energetic/intense in midfield & fluid in attack (very strong on set pieces/crosses, have some individual quality, and looked sharp on the break/in transition too)
(Stop thinking, keep this flowing, ok sound)
(I am keeping the flow going)
(This is why these work, stuff comes out, next match then)
If this comes off, this is my new party trick, I’m telling ya
Loads of parties require some lad going on about fantasy football I’m sure
It’s cool as playing fantasy footy you know, and posting about it (mesin), especially when you include music with it
Next game then, this is quite something, don’t expect these in perfect alphabetical order (I’ve gone from the most recent match to earlier on in the GW)
Bournemouth 2–3 Spurs (Bournemouth caused Spurs problems defensively on the break, Moore gets on the team sheet/score sheet & Bournemouth look like they can counter well at times) – Spurs remain the 3rd highest scoring team in the league (score from 2 set pieces/crosses) – Travers concedes 3 or more again (think he made 4 saves though in fairness, Solanke appeared to be playing a slightly different role, but is seemingly fit again)
Brentford 1-1 Wolves – Brentford lacking open play goals again (Toney is banned for the next game it looks like) – just realised that I haven’t seen this goals but I sorta heard them on them on 5 Live (same thing really, I imagined what they look like, Brentford don’t hardly score in open play these days anyway/Wolves don’t score many) – Wolves put the round thing in the retungular thing for only the 6th time in the league this season
Palace beat Southampton 1-0 – another win for Palace at home (quietly getting decent results at home for the most part, recently at least anyway, but are arguably more of a functional team than a spectacular one at the moment, but do offer pace in wide areas, and it was a nice pull back goal in a team sense – Zaha struggles to get shots (on target) off – but may be worth considering keeping with Forest coming up in GW16
Brighton beat Chelsea 4-1 – De Zerbi gets a deserved first league win as Brighton manager (in my opinion, those chances were finally converted) – Trossard shines /gets more centrally, getting at the back post/in around the 6 yard box more, and scores his 7th league goal of the season
0-1 City – Leicester concede (at home) for the first time in little while – De Bruyne gets his 3rd league goal of the season (12th return in the league this season I think)
I’m just semi leaving the zone for a minute
I’m back now
I’m just putting MOTD on while I do this, I saw about half of it (and yesterday’s goals), just seeing some of the other goals too (Ok, this is sorta ‘cheating’ a bit and what lad, this is my SOC, it goes where it wants trippy style (trippy style, or just some lad writing in a very non structured way, sound either way really)
(Ok, back to Fulham Ev, just literally putting MOTD on now for those goals)
Here’s the bit where I show my teams/scores:-

Food for thought for GW15. I might do something mad (for a change eh). For a laugh.
