(F)PL & Sky Sports Fantasy Football GW12 Stream of Consciousness (My Version of a Stream of Consciousness That Is, Stream of Consciousness Looks Boss Written 3 Times In This Title Doesn’t It Lad, Rule of 3 There & All That Jazz) ‘Review’ (No Typos, No Typos, No Typos – Stay In The Zone, Stay In The Zone, Stay In The Zone – You Can Leave For A Break Soon Though) – The Beatles Version (I Think This Is OK Now, Just Putting It Out, It May Be A Bit Imperfect)

| Introduction |

Just a reminder that I write what I write based off information, the eye test etc.

Also, I do try to be objective (or constructive) as humanly possible.

I am human, therefore (some) bias can be part of that, but I’ll give credit where it’s due (I’m a Liverpool supporter, but I’m also an admirer of football).

I think to some extent I try to take emotion out of things, and that can help, but at the same time I want these (posts) to be human (and yet not human, as it is a site), authentic and flexible (there is a structure, but I’ll let these posts take me where they want to, or I’ll take the posts to where I want to take them).

This is structured but it can involve some light parts (I’m being more organised, but I’m still mad as a box of frogs you know, you don’t want to take the edge away from me do you).

Any chance to throw in a pun (not for the sake of it though) or have a laugh will be taken (it’s a balancing act you but I’m lazer focused).

(Writing ‘no typos, no typos, no typos’ there sorta helps, keep proof reading as you go along, yes this is a bit I’m writing for myself)

This is going out in a minute (think it’s pretty much on the money now, sorta, it’s chaotic as usual!).

They have been played now.

| 20/10/22 | 19:30 (GMT) | Craven Cottage (Not The Pepsi Max Arena) | Fulham 3-0 Aston Villa |

| 3 Is The Magic Number For Fulham & Villa’s Winless Run Continues |

● Fulham score 3 or more in a Premier League match for a 3rd time in 2022/23

● Fulham have 3 different scorers (sort of, one was an own goal, but you know)

Yeah, I haven’t got a 3rd ‘3’ thingy-o stat there.

● Fulham get their second clean sheet (in the league) in 2022/23

Aston Villa’s winless run continues (no win since GW8).

| 20/10/22 | 20:15 (GMT) | The King Power Stadium | Leicester City 2-0 Leeds United |

| 2 Goals Give Leicester A Second League Win In 2022/23 |

● Leicester City get their second league win of the season

● Leicester City record a third consecutive clean sheet at home (2-0, 0-0 & 4-0)

Leicester City kept Leeds at arms length, by reducing Marsch’s side to just 2 shots on target.

| 19/10/22 | 20:15 (GMT) | Old Trafford | Manchester United 2-0 Spurs |

| United Overpower Spurs At Home |

Manchester United have taken 19 points since GW3 (7 wins in 9 league matches).

There does seem to be a pattern since Casemiro has arrived at the club, but it is not to necessarily say he is the sole reason (he has not started every match in that time, but he has made 7 appearances in the league during that period).

● Manchester United had 10 shots on target (8 according to FPL) against Spurs (2-0)

● Spurs are defeated for just the second time in the league in 2022/23

Spurs still appear to be without Kulusevski (he *possibly* has a chance for GW13, but the Swedish international has not made an appearance/started a league match since GW8) and Richarlison out for the foreseeable future.

| 19/10/22 | 19:30 (GMT) | St.James’ Park | Newcastle United 1-0 Everton |

| Newcastle Mean Buisness |

● Newcastle United (just 9 goals conceded) retain the record of having the best defence (least goals conceded in the league in 2022/23

| 19/10/22 | 19:30 (GMT) | Anfield | Liverpool 1-0 West Ham United |

| Green Shoots of Recovery For Liverpool, Reds Are Improving & West Ham Lose Their Mini Unbeaten Run But Are Overall In A Better Place (Most Definitely Compared To Earlier On In The Season) |

● Liverpool win back to league matches

● Liverpool created numerous chances

● Liverpool remain the 4th highest scoring side in the league

● Liverpool keep back to back clean sheets

● Liverpool get their 4th league clean sheet of the season

● West Ham appear to have most defenders back available but do seemingly have Paqueta out injured for the forseiable future (nothing absolutely official yet though, as far as I know, looks like he is out for a bit though)

● West Ham created a few half decent chances

| 19/10/22 | 19:30 (GMT) | The Brentford Community Stadium | Brentford 0-0 Chelsea |

| Brentford Away Remains A Tough Place To Go (Ish, Well Overall It Is, There’s Generally A Fantastic Atmosphere & Feel About The Club There – Going Off The Telly That Is) & Chelsea Drop Points But Remain Unbeaten (In Terms of A Current Unbeaten Run)|

I didn’t see this match, so I’ll mainly go off statistics (I’m not doing the ‘it was 0-0’ thing, then again, maybe I am a bit).

● Brentford keep back to back clean sheets

● Brentford remain unbeaten at home in the league this season (albeit after just 5 home matches)

● Chelsea keep a 3rd consecutive clean sheet (in the league)

● Chelsea keep a 5th consecutive clean sheet in all competitions (Champions League included)

● Chelsea remain unbeaten in the league since GW6

| 19/10/22 | 19:30 (GMT) | The Vitality Stadium | Bournemouth 0-1 Southampton (If/When A Team Scores They Get Their Name In Bold, Breaking The 4th Wall Again, I’m Not Mesin About Here You Know) |

| Southampton End Bournemouth’s Mini Unbeaten League Run |

● Southampton get their first clean sheet of the league season

● Bournemouth are beaten in the league for the first since being beaten by Liverpool (9-0)

| 18/10/22 | 20:15 (GMT) | Selhurst Park | Crystal Palace 2-1 Wolves|

| Zaha Gives Palace A Home Win (Not Mad On That Title, Keeping It In Though)|

● Crystal Palace have taken 7 points from a possible 9 in their previous 3 league matches

● Zaha gets his 5th league goal of the season

● Wolves remain winless away from home (in the league) this season

| 19/10/22 | 19:30 (GMT) | The Amex | Brighton 0-0 Nottingham Forest |

| Brighton Fire A Blank Again & Forest Get A Point |

Brighton once again are denied by another top goalkeeping performance.

● Brighton fail to score in a second league consecutive match

● Nottingham Forest keep a clean sheet (in the league) for the first time since GW2

| Teams (FPL & Sky Sports Fantasy Football)/Scores |

I made this bed for GW12 (metaphorically speaking that is), the wildcard helped plan for it, and it it was a metaphorical bed with plenty of clean sheets (Sánchez, Trippier (captain), Justin & Cucurella.

Some players didn’t shine but there we are – feels a bit underwhelming but in the context of the GW it is a sound score (I embrace some imperfection though) of course (I’m not going to say it was a vintage GW but it was an effective one in terms of green arrows) – but there’s definitely positives to take for sure.

Andreas dazzled, but somehow didn’t come away significant return(s).

Zaha returned for a 2nd time in 3 league matches (since getting him in in GW10).

Various wildcard purposes are contributing well (got more ‘options’ too .

No hits taken, chips left etc.

This was a DGW in Sky Sports Fantasy Football, I transferred Castagne in (and captained the Belgium international) for the Thursday match day (out went Cash), Salah was transferred in the other night (Trossard captaincy on Tuesday night was rubbish but I’ll take the appearance points and run, Trippier was captained successfully (big positive there) on Wednesday night (as well as in FPL).

I can act all cool here but obviously that’s a pretty quality score, or at least with some quality returns (and match day captain returns).

Some negatives too – Bowen’s penalty was saved well by Allison, but there we are, I think his form overall is pretty decent/I highly rate him as a player/and glad to have him with the home fixtures that he has coming up.

OK, I’m wrapping this up now (a quick little edit/double check the information), and it’s going out.
