I said I’ll come back when someone scores and no one did, so I’ve done a new post for a laugh.
Going to use this to vent some frustration.
Hopefully in a comical way.
I’ll say this, I am conscious of how sometimes bias can come to play in this game, and it can useful to see positives.
How was that 0-0. Maddison getting booked last minute and being suspended for GW12 sums it up, as it happens I have 11 players ready for the GW.
He got bonus points in Sky Sports FF, that’s a positive, he booked that’s a negative.
Having 2 clean sheets on my bench in FPL is annoying, but it is the time of the year where more injuries tend to occur, so I think I subconsciously went for a bigger squad approach.
Or it is muscle memory.
I don’t know.
Sometimes I think I have too much information in my head, it is also baffling as that is only Leicester and Palace’s second clean sheet in the Premier League this season.
Brentford picked up just their 3rd clean sheet in the league this season last night.
And it’s GW11.
Talking about sod’s law.
Anyway, it’s football, I have played the wildcard/made transfers for more than just one GW.
I find it difficult being organised, it’s not natural to me. But I think the way FPL is now every decision can be scrutinised.
In some ways that’s a good thing, as we have so much information available.
But in some ways it can be suffocating.
I think I get caught in a few minds sometimes.
But every decision can have positives.
So I’ll absolutely take the positives.
I’m glad to have Palace defensive ‘cover’, they have decent underlying numbers and good fixtures.
As the negatives just hold you back.
Yes, being critical can help, or having moments of feeling some disappointment.
It can make us dig deep.
But I think seeing positives can definely help.
For your sanity as much as anything.
In a way, I see fantasy football as a reflection of society, real football etc.
Poetic that lad (I know).
I don’t know.
Anyway, footy eh, it’s absolutely mad.
And yet it is rational.
Sometimes I think me doing these sort of posts is like a game in itself.
I’ll keep chipping away (got all my chips left).
Well, I’ll see the positives.
I haven’t taken any hits all season, that’s a positive.
I’ll keep being engaged, enjoy exploring information, and laugh along the way.
It’s fantasy football for goodness sake.
I am really enjoying playing Sky Sports FF.
There are still games left, and players to play.
It’s ok, tomorrow is a brand new day.
I’m feeling high off nature.
