I’m such a rebellious casual, I just pick some players you know. Well, I’m doing bits re looking at stats, xG (fancy) & all that jazz. I mean I’ve followed xG to a point but now I’ll like join the matrix. As long as I can keep being a rebellious rocker hippie punk though, albeit that one that knows what Brentford’s xG is at home or whatever.

I just won’t mention xG when I’m out having a bevvie – a chance will be a fine thing (mesin – ladies love me – it’s the rebellious punk who plays fantasy footy thing you know – yeah that’s a joke as I know that women play fantasy footy) So yeah I’m looking at the fixtures a bit more and doing other bits – I suppose I missed this geeky side of me a bit (ssssshhh don’t tell people, I don’t want to ruin my cool looking reputation – grow up lad – no).

I’ll try to play the game a bit more – what game is that you might wonder – or probably not. Well, I’ll try to use the fancy terms a bit more – I mean I think I’m pretty modern in many ways (very socially conscious & all) – but suppose I can say no.9 (or say in the half space – oh dear – please no) a bit more when referring to some lad who plays up top for team x.

I might even start using words like ‘upside’. Only mesin FPL community – you know I love you really.

I’m trying to modernize more (as much as possible).

Stats have really grown in recent years – I still like the eye test though – it’s surreal seeing where footy is at now in some ways but I’ll try to embrace it.

I’ll try to be more professional (but a bit rebellious too) – so to speak.
