It started off doing bits about Euro 2012. Now it’s about being anything but the Sunday Times. I called it ‘ZONERISM‘ around 2014 time I think. It just sort of came to me. Boss that isn’t it.

It comes from one of my favourite bands – life changing at that – Tame Impala. They had an album called ‘Lonerism’ & it blew my mind. So it’s a pun on that. I got to a point where as I like what’s the point in doing things you don’t want to do just to please people. I was like, this band is so cool & they’re introverted – I was sitting in the garden – it was like a realisation or a beam & I was like that’s enough & I’m not doing things I don’t want to do just to keep people happy & waste time with people who don’t treat you well or with respect. I’m at a similar point again now.

I was going to call it in the zone or something. Glad I didn’t. I didn’t really have a name prior to that. One of my best mates helped me with the format – he advised me on it – and I continued with it.

Having it looking like a wall or gallery is something I like. I’m glad to be adventurous with it. A lot of it comes from being fed up with what’s going on with modern society – so I like being able to be rebellious with it.
It’s about imperfection – it’s about experimenting, exploring & being open minded – I try to keep things fresh.
