FPL GW 29/SKY FF

• Bit of a weird GW but was memorable.
• Only 4 matches in it made it feel a bit different for me.
• 42 net (mini ish wildcard – 2 free transfers & – 8).
• Feels a little bit overwhelming but the hits were effective, they added a quite a lot more points and the funds frees up gives me different routes to transfers (5.5 ITB].
• Glass half full, got a bit lucky with the vice captaincy but glad I vice captained Raphinha and put myself in a position to get lucky with Bale not playing (it meant playing with 10 but grateful to take the extra 8 points), went for Brighton defenders (they were pretty likely going to dominate the game, didn’t have much to deal with defensively and had potential to do well) and it came together getting that team together (partly because of thinking ahead).
• A bit unlucky with Soucek own goal but at least he scored to came away with a few points.
• A few other things went against me a bit (low points returns) but that’s football (some decent returns/having 10 playing added more points) and sometimes got to take the rough with the smooth.
• Nice to get points from players I never had owned before (Veltman and Raphinha).

Victory favours the brave they say (?)

• 3 head to head victories in the bag.

• Fine lines, as often in football, looks like an ok GW overall (not great but in the context of the average, such few matches, head to head victories etc.).

• The international break allows a chance to reflect, refresh mentally, take stock, mull over ideas, soak up information etc.).
