| Thoughts, Rational & Playing Percentages |
• I didn’t want to change my team much at all, playing the fixtures and want to stick with reliable proven and largely very consistent players.
• Option of an extra free transfer is at now available.
• Buys more thinking time, an opportunity to freshen up mentally, avoid decision fatigue and enjoy the GW from a different perspective: * sometimes * you can do more harm than good with transfers.
• Captain choices in Sky FF *may* change.
• Playing percentages selecting highly owned players/hedging my bets somewhat in terms of having players starting in Sky FF and not starting in FPL, weary of players being not fit or fully fit and possiblity of rotation with the UEFA Champions League being back in action, therefore, giving myself the possible option of getting lucky with auto(subs) if needs be.
• Liverpool face Everton in the merseyside derby, Everton have conceded in several goals in recent matches and Liverpool are without their 4 best centre backs.
• Salah is very bright, is off the back off 4 goals in his previous 5 matches, (and looking to add to that) in all competitions.
• Manchester United face a Newcastle side that is conceding a lot of goals, has home advantage and a lot of quality to put Bruce’s side to the sword; AWB scored his first goal for club in the reverse fixture, scored at home against Southampton and is seemingly getting more forward and in better areas than earlier on in his career at Crystal Palace.
• West Ham United are in form, have one of the best defences in the league of late and the number 1 for most goals scored from corners from set pieces this season.
• Burnley are quitely tickling along after winning at Anfield, appear to be finding the back of the net a bit more easily, generally tough to beat and have a nice fixture at home against West Brom.
• Manchester City have conceded 2 goals in their previous 3 Premier League matches and travel to a sharper, fresher and tougher youthful side lead by a now in form Aubameyang, Arsenal are unbeaten at home in the Premier League in recent times and face the leaders, who *may* rest a few players.
• Have some set piece taking defenders in the form of Trent, Cresswell & Digne in both sides offers an potential extra advantage (if/when games are tight).
Good luck, control the controables and enjoy/endure the GW.
