World Cup 2014/El Mundial 2014: Brazil 1-1 Chile (AET: Brazil win 3-2 on penalties/Brasil gana {3-2} por una banda de penaltis [Second Round/Segunda Fase]

| Luiz | Sánchez |

A fantastic, frantic and intense game which lasted for 120 minutes, a penalty shoot out was the difference between the two South American sides.

Brazil participate in and win their first penalty shoot-out in a World Cup match since beating Holland (1-1: AET/Brazil won 4-2 on penalties in the semi-final of the 1998 World Cup to ultimately progress to the quarter finals of the 2014 World Cup.

Chile played really well and battled. They had some good opportunities, eleven shots on goal in all. But Brasil managed to win somehow despite having less possession but the five time world champions had twenty six shots y gana el partido, este es lo importante.
